Reasons for Gratitude

A key part to using the secret effectively is to keep in your mind a list of things you are grateful for.  Review it often.  Because you are grateful for what you have, the universe will bring you more.  Stay grateful, stay positive. 

 

Here is a list of things I’m grateful for:

 My cat and constant companion Bobo.
The fact that I have a roof over my head.
That I have food in my fridge and freezer.
That wonderful feeling when I have that 1st cup of coffee in the morning.
The emotional hug that I get from a cup of hot chocolate.
Having a job with so many people unemployed still.
Knowing how to save money in so many ways.
The speed at which I am recovering from the health issues I’ve had.
The friends that I have who would kick my butt if I gave up on any part of life.
The friends I have who show me new things.
Sunday breakfasts at Little D’s Family Restaurant.
Music, and the firm belief I have that people will always make music.
Having a mustache that traps wonderful smells, like smoke roasted almonds and hazelnut coffee, but not at  the same time.
Being alive as it gives me the opportunity each day to improve my life and the lives of others around me.

I’m grateful for the rare opportunities I’ve had, to see beyond the curtain of the normal world and get a glimpse of the things that are outside of the normal world.


I am grateful that I have learned just because I do not understand something or someone does not mean I have to fear or hate that someone or something.
